The Valley of Prehistory in Santiago de Cuba is a recreational and tourist center dedicated to the science of paleontology in Cuba. It is a section of the National Park Baconao in which a real prehistoric park was created filled with sculptures of life-size extinct animals. They are divided into geological epochs. From the 14m tall Brachiosaurus to the representation of Seymouria. It includes human evolutionary links. For instance, there are several Corythosaurus next to a small artificial waterfall. There are even hunting scenes between animals and humans. The park offers several dining options with a café and restaurant, the latter being a cave with attractive decor, which recreates the habitat of the caveman.
