San Pedro de Alcantara is a small town within the Marbella area which has undergone extensive remodelling work over the last few years. It was once a very Spanish, working town with a few shops and a nice beach area. These days however it is a thriving resort that has become sought after with property buyers and holiday makers.

The underpass to take traffic away from the main road was a huge success and meant that the road has become quieter with much less traffic. This has helped the many businesses along the main road thrive.

The San Pedro Boulevard is a new addition to the town with a modern new footbridge passing over the roundabout to take you from one side to the other. Restaurants and children’s playgrounds along the Boulevard mean that it is now a very popular location for families to spend time.

With new property developments like Los Arqueros Beach and Jade Beach, plus a new strip of quality restaurants and boutiques, San Pedro de Alcantara is a popular residential community.

The face lift is still continuing with the pedestrian area being extended and new beach restaurants being constructed.
